UEFA dropped its investigation into allegations of racism by fans of Italian club Atalanta during a Europa League match against Borussia Dortmund in February.
After Borussia Dortmund’s 4-3 aggregate win over Atalanta, striker Michy Batshuayi revealed he had been racially targeted by the Italian club’s fans during the game, saying he had heard monkey chants in the stands.
UEFA said its disciplinary board had decided to “close the disciplinary proceedings opened for racist or discriminatory behaviour” but did not give further details.
LOL. Must be my imagination https://t.co/50BrKZz6mu
